The Grove

A little touch of the Countryside

Woodland at The Grove in May

The Grove farm is a working sheep farm offering self catering holiday accommodation in one static holiday caravan, a perfect place for those who enjoy the countryside and a bit of peace & tranquillity, The farm is secluded & peaceful making it an ideal getaway for those who want to relaxing break away from it all,

We are set in 158 acres of pasture & woodland with panoramic views of the Black Mountains extending into Wales & the surrounding counties.

We are situated close to Hergest Croft Gardens & join Park Wood, with Offas Dyke footpath & Hergest Ridge bounding the farm making it an ideal centre for walking and sight seeing

Just a couple of miles away are the black & white villages of Pembridge & Eardisland , and Hay on Wye being approx 7 miles,

The family at work on Hergest Ridge,

Made famous by Mike Oldfield who was so inspired by its beauty he named a LP after it,

Offas Dyke footpath goes over Hergest ridge and it is well worth a walk up the lane, take a picnic with you as  on a clear day the views are breathtaking

Sunset at the Grove

Sunset looking towards the Black Mountains from the farmyard

If you like looking at the stars at night we guarantee you a great view

you may even see one of our resident badgers/Owls or foxes

Due to the fantastic views we are a great place for artists,

And have been told many times by guests what a wonderful place it is for star gazing! due to the absence of light pollution!  I spend many a evening gazing to the heaven's myself & will never tire of view
